Q: Foot Problems - Probably Bunion

I think I have a bunion, because it's sticking out and the big toe's crooked in toward the others, and I can put a piece of styrofoam between the toes to space them out, and then it's straighter and feels actually significantly better. However, I don't want to hurt the foot more than it is. Plus, I've noticed that my toes are also a bit curlier than a lot of people's, but I don't know what that is.

Anyways, I am a dancer (an Irish dancer), and we spend an awful lot of time on our toes (actually all the time we're dancing...no exceptions unless your foot is off the ground for the most part). On our toes, I don't mean on pointe like ballet dancers. On the ball of your foot, but a little higher. So, I don't know if this the problem, but I don't want to stop dancing if I can avoid it.

Is there something that I can do to make my foot go back the way it's supposed to, or do I need to do the whole podiatrist stuff?
