Q: My Weekend.

On thursday, Jonny told me he was planning a surprise for me. He kept going on about it, & I was really hoping it was that he was coming to see me. I didn't get my hopes up, though, because he doesn't have much money & it was really short notice.

Well friday night, my brother came into my room & told me I'd left my headlights on.. so I went outside, & there he was, standing next to my car holding a bunch of flowers! Very Happy

We had a good time, but he only got to stay until this afternoon so he's gone now & I'm missing him like crazy. I'm not letting it get me down though, because in a few weeks I'll be seeing him again & then he's moving all his stuff up here, in preparation for living here for good!! Mr. Green

Wish us luck, we'll need it in the next few weeks.. Jonny's looking for a job up here & I'm looking for a house for us. It's proving very difficult at the moment.

Anyway, I hope everyone had a good weekend! =)

No definite wedding plans yet. That's the last thing we're thinking about right now.. we'll get married when we have enough money, & even then it's not going to be a big wedding. I love planning it all in my head, but right now I'm stressing about money & how we're going to afford our own place.

My dad doesn't like Jonny, he tolerates him.. so it's going to be difficult when he moves here because if he doesn't live here for a little while he's got nowhere to stay. He needs to do at least a month's work (at a new job up here) before we can afford the deposit on a flat/house. I lie awake at night worrying about this kind of thing.. at the moment Jonny's living off £200 a month, even though he gets paid about a grand. His mum won't even let him miss a couple of months' rent to save up, it gets me so mad.

I just want us to be a family.

I never understood parents who make their kids pay rent... don't have kids if they aren't welcome in your freaken house. I mean, it's different after their 21 I think, unless they are in school or university and older then 21. I've just always thought parents like that are ridiculous.

Anyways, that is adorable of him Zanny! I'm glad he does nice things to make you feel special like that.

I know not all parents are like this...but I knew a guy that had to start paying his mother rent when he started working. He recently got married and his mother's gift to him was a check for the amount of the rent he had been paying her over the past few years. So, he got all of his money back that he paid her. I'm not sure how much it was, but I'm sure it was probably enough to make a down payment on a house.
