I went down there to get my laundry and it sorta smells like a backed up sewer wich its never smelled funky down there before. I went back and checked the other 2 rooms though to make sure there wasnt a puddle of icky water but nothing the smell seems to be coming from the laundry room . I dunno what is making it stink but it really sucks, and not knowing why it smells i cant make it smell better. And we dont have septic tanks here so hmm anyone got an ideas??

Is your washing machine old? The pipes on it can become mouldy inside which the water runs through, it smells sort of like bad egg.
Or could the room have damp in it somewhere?

I had a smelly washing machine room... it turned out that after heavy winds the "trap" would get sucked out and the sewer gases would come in. The solution is to pour water down the pipe where your washer hose drains in to, or just run a load of laundry and the trap will fill up again.
