In texas, there are abortion clinics that will go up to 24 weeks.

That is 6 months.

It is more expensive later term, so early is better as far as the cost is concerned.

First Trimester (7-13 weeks)
Dilation & Aspiration (D&A)

A series of dilators are used to open the cervix.

The doctor inserts a long plastic tube, which is attached to a strong vacuum. At the end of the tube is a scraping device called a cannula. The doctor uses this to scrape and suction the inside of the uterus making sure he gets all the fetal parts, placenta, and uterine lining.
The procedure takes about 10 minutes.
It is important to have a follow-up exam two weeks after the abortion

after then thats just messed up.

MOST clinics in TEXAS go up to 20- 24 weeks, which is 5-6 months, not 13 weeks as you say.

D&A is done to 15 weeks, after 15 weeks d&e is used. D&E is used all the way up to 24-26 weeks.

To the poster-

These are abortion clinics in Texas that go to at LEAST 4 months, and many go to 5-6 months.

BY the way..

Abortion up to 12 weeks ONLY takes 5-7 minutes, I know because I work in an abortion clinic.

You can also read about it on the websites I posted.

NOTHING is scraped inside of the uterus, ONLY suction is used.

It is not too late, if she wants an abortion she can still have one up to 24 weeks, 6 months, but she has to hurry.
