The other night I experienced extreme chest pain on the left side. I felt as if it were a stabbing and throbbing pain beneath my breast and especially hurt my lung when I took a deep breath. I have experienced this type of pain once before a couple of years ago when I was playing in an orchestra (flute). Then it was one both sides and lasted for almost an hour. None of my limbs hurt. I am only 21 and am in good health. However, the pain was quite intense. Do you have an idea of what might be going on?
