Q: Ear Cure!!! I Invented.... So Far So Good.

I think i might have invented a CURE for my ears. Here are my symptoms, ear fullness... air popping... ear pain... weird sensations... burning..... mostly the feeling something is in my ear ALL THE TIME.The ear symptoms like the ait popping is driving me insane. ok here is my cure. I am going to describe it. Proceed with caution if you want to try it. i am still ironing out some kinks. I got an old snap on earring out of my grandmothers jewlery box. in the days past before piercing they wore them on their ear lobes. They are like a wirey thing with a hinge, that is like an oblong shape. It snaps on the ear with some tension. I am not wearing it on my ear lobe. I have it on the top of my ear hole, towards the front of my face. snapped on the cartiledge, and one end goes into the ear a bit. I did get a sore the first week i wore it because i am allergic to metal. So what i did was i put a pad on the part that goes inside the ear, i stuck the pad on with alittle tape to hold it.i happened to make the pad out of a small piece of ultrasuede fabric. snap it on, the tension of the earring has stopped ALL MY EAR SYMPTOMS! as long as i wear it, my ears havent felt this good in 7 years. OK.... now i know this sounds totally SILLY but it is working. so no one i could find would answer me about this, i think they think i am a nut, so i decided to go ask some chiropracters, why they think the earring is working. i am going to post the link, if anyone wants to read it. My question and their thoughts on why it might be woking. Cindy

Link to Ear Conversation
http://www.chiroweb.com/cgi-bin/forum/new_ webbbs/ask_dc/ask_dc2.pl here is the link to the board where i asked the question. scrolll down and look for Ear pain by cindy. i have been playing with it about a month now, and like i said the only problem i had was i got a sore form the metal, so i suggest if anyone trys it to put a pad on it,also you can make it as tight or loose as you want, and it depends, you have to play with it, try it, experiment, see if your ear gets sore, dont do it. cindy

Hey
this works because this place on the ear is a pressure point for the ear. i rub /pull my ear lobe or other parts of my ear all the time works and feels good.

I Wish Some Brave Soul Would Also Try It
Dyan, I think it might be accupressure, or the chiropracters are thinking a bit more than that. More complicated maybe. my ear symptoms are gone...all gone as long as i wear it. its relief without the use of medicines... so anyway i am going to experiment some more, try two ears things like that.see if any problems develop. so far none, no hearing changes, no extra dizziness, just releif....from that Insane feeling of fullness in the ear. Oh and the popping is gone too. my finger is lovng it too, not sticking it in my ear anymore.LOL cindy

Yes
its very similiar. you can find books that tell you about the pressure points where they are and what they are for. just be careful of the ones in the neck. you will throw yourself out of alignment. I know i have several times.

I know but i cant seem to find any on the ear. i found ear reflexology? but i am looking to find the nerves of the outer ear. Maybe i should be looking at cranial nerves? and how they go to the ear? what you think? cindy

hey go to barnes and noble or any bookstore and look for a book on it. there is a book --sorry I cant remember the name ---that had a pict diagram that showed them all. there were some on the ear. I have used that ever since.

Another Week Gone By And Still No Ear Problems
another week has gone by and my ears are still great. I have never felt better... as long as i wear that earring, i have no fullness, no popping of the air, no anything... i've been looking on the internet to investigate how in the heck this could be working so well. Looking at ear muscles, nerves, eustacian tubes, no answers as of yet. I would sure like someone else to try it? i imagine our ears all work pretty much in the same way. I have a lady in england, i sent some earrings ,so we shall see how she makes out. I think i really have something for ear relief. how this all started is i was always sticking my finger in my ear. To sort of get that full feeling, out of there. I started pinching, the top part of the ear hole towards the face. And that felt good. so then i thought what could i put there, that pinched that part of the ear all the time? Tried this and that, stuck all kinds of things in my ear, and finally thought of a snap on earring.I know it seems OUTRAGEOUS, but its working. i know it sounds silly. Cindy
