Im hopeing someone might be able to help me here...

I have had this lump at the left hand base of my skull for about 9 years now. It feels quite solid, but not solid enough to be bone, a little bit of movement in it... about the size of a small marble when i run my finger over it.

I have never really thought anything of it as it never gave me any problems. However lately i have been getting some headaches in that area, which i am assuming is from this lump...

Im very nervous of going to the docs, however i know i have to.

Before i do does anyone have any opinions or thoughts on what it may be to have it so long?

Thanks

Maybe a lymph node? Where exactly is the lump located?
