Pregnancy
Any time someone is considering pregnancy and they are on any kind of medication, your doctor must be consulted. There are a lot of medication that can cause birth defects. But just because she is on serious medication now, does not necessarily rule out the possibility of future pregnancy.

Good luck

Yes, mia is right you & your wife need to talk to your Dr. But having been to china & also knowing that you are only allowed to have one child (unless this has changed recently?) I would suggest that you go on-line & do some research of your own about:

the medication your wife is on, any others she might be better off on (especially in terms of pregnacncy & clso child care/ breast feeding etc)

the alternatives that she might try like homeopathy, naturopathy, herbal medicines (which china has a marvellous history or using successfully & which the west is only starting to appreciate!!)

some natural medications that might help (what is your wife's actual diagnosis????)

the possibility that she has been misdiagnosed (women are more likely than men to be misdiagnosed, for many reasons)

- how can you do this:

go to a search engine like google.Com or yahoo.Com (there are lots) and type in under the search area questions like:

what can cause this symptoms (whatever your wife 's symptoms are) or

side effects of perphanazine or

natural alternative treatments for (whatever your wife has been diagnosed with)

visit some natural health practitioners where you live (homeopaths, naturopaths, accupuncturists etc) & ask them if they have any suggestions or if they know of anyone who could help naturally/

it would help us to help you if you could tell us what your wife was actually diagnosed with (some countries call medications by different names & also use them for different things to other countries!! Also what her symptoms were that led to the diagnosis & is she "better" now that she's medicated????
