O.k., so me and my boyfriend were having sex and we were trying a new position where he was sitting on the couch and i was stradling him and well when we were done my vagina hurt and burned really bad at the bottom. Then, the next day we tried to have sex again, and I could not bear the pain at all!!! It hurt so bad! It felt like I cut it! Anyway, what did I do? Confused

It is very possible you have a bruise, cut, irritation, or a friction burn down there. Give vaginal penetration a rest for a few days, you should know there are plenty of ways to entertain each other, hehe ^^

That happens to my girl sometimes. We usually take a couple days off and she's fine. Did he wear a condom?

mmmm was going to say could have been irritation from latex.

nope, couldnt be... sometimes we use astroglide, others we dont use lube... but both our sexual desires were so strong that we just got rite to it... and i think the new position or how fast we were going could have torn it or stretched it but i still dont know!

It's easier to tear than you think.... otherwise, you might not have been lubricated enough??

you have simply over stretched your perineum - the thin piece of skin between the vagina and the anus.

because this was a new position and I expect you went deeper than you realised too.

there's no long term damage or anything - you just need to make sure that you use plenty of lube from now on.

it'll be a tad sore for a few days and the same thing might happen the next few times until this piece of skin gets used to being stretched.

you can help things along - lay in a comfortable position and using some lube slide the tips of your thumbs (palms facing down) into the entrance of your vagina and gently stretch the skin out and downwards until you feel a slight tingle.
Gentle use your finger tips to massage the lube into this skin while it is stretched, then allow it to relax again.
repeat several times and you should find that this skin begins to stretch much easier.

This is also recommended for women nearing labour as this will help reduce the risk of having a tear or episiotomy.

Yeah, my perinium creates a bit of a "shelf" too, a tiny one but it does make a difference. I may try stretching too; since that's the only place I ever have pain during sex (aside from my cervix, ow!) and it just got jabbed during my pap smear (again, ow!).

I tore mine the other month-Me and my bf were on a chair and he was sitting on the chair and i went reli fast on top-how fast were you?If it was a wide chair you could have opened your legs to much.Try some oral sex for the next few days and do lots of massaging his penis-and use lube next time, as it dead nice and makes it more comfortable I have tore it twice before but i dont care i am in love with ahvin sex
