*chocolate chip cookies*

2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup spftened butter or margarine
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp water
3/4 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup chocolate chips (more if you like)

*method:
1. Preheat over to 350 degrees
2. Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking soda and salt)
3. In another bowl beat butter with an electric mixer
4. Beat brown sugar in with butter, then beat in the white sugar
5. Add egg and water and beat
6. Stir in dry ingredient and mix well. Blend with mixer (dont forget to mix with spoon first otherwise the dry ingredients will fly everywhere!)
7. Stir in rolled oats. Do not blend with mixer
8. Stir in chocolate chips. Do not blend with mixer
9. Place 15 cookies (3 rows of 5) on a cookie sheet using the spoon method
10. Bake in over for 7-10mins
11. Let cool for 2 mins.

My batch made 2 dozen cookies. Not sure how much yours will..All depends on how much you scoop into the bowl. My teacher told me that if you start to smell the cookies then that means they are burning (never knew that!)

enjoy

p.S. If you make them let me know how they turn out!
