If your period came on time with a usual duration and blood amount, it seems that there is nothing to be worry about. If your period is irregular (spotting), lasts too long (menorrhagya) or too short (oligomenorrhea) and blood amount is bigger (hypermenorrhea) than normal, you can visit your gynecologist for further investigations.
