Q: Skipping Period

I have been on B.C. pills for at least 5 years. I have never skipped a period before, I need to either skip or delay my period because I am going on vacation and if I don't skip or delay it I'll have my period during my vacation(and I don't want it then). I called my doctors office to ask about this and the nurse was very rude about it and said my docotr doesn't approve of doing this. I'm pretty sure that if I just skip the placebos and just start a new this will do what I want it to do. Can anyone give me some advice if they have done this or if I'll been ok if I do this.

Yes, directly going from the end of one pack to the other is the way to sip a period. However, this often doesn't work on the first try for women and can cause a month of spotting and irregular bleeding. It's healthy to do, just not always perfect the first try.

Good luck!
