Alright I am 17 years old and I have been abnormally skinny for my entire life. My arms are sticks and my waist is nothing. No matter what I do I cannot gain weight.

I have always been a hefty eater. I eat more in a day than just about anyone I know. No matter how much I eat however, my body decides to expose of it within about half an hour. When I was born I was almost 11 pounds which is aparently very unheathy. I have been tested for diabetes and the test was negetive. If I go one day without eating allot I can literally lose (and I have weighed myself) over 7 pounds in a day. My mother always just said I have a high metabolism but thi is abnormal. I do not know another male within my 6 year age range that is as skinny as I am, and the ones I do know are heroin addicts. Any insight would mean the world to me.

i'm just wondering..
when you say your body "exposes" of it within half an hour..
do you mean like throwing it up?...
or like disposing of it...other ways..

on the mayo clinic website it says that it takes between
24 and 72 hrs. to actually digest food..
so i would deff. see a doctor about this..

were they just family MD's or were they specialists?
i suggest finding a specialist with digestion.. and seeing him..
b/c family MDs are most likely just going to pass it off....b/c they don't
specialize in it...

was it your height/weight?..
just to have an idea
