I go to a chiropractor who has a massuse at the clinic. But I find that he (the chiropractor) can just due wonders for the pain in my back, hips, and neck region. This is covered by my insurance but if you know a good chiropractor it my be worth a look into.

Fibromyalgia
The doctors thought I had MS did MRI on head only had no lesions. So they said, probably, fibromyalgia. I am taking celebrex during day and requip at night for restless legs. It seems to be working pretty good. The muscle cramps in my sides all the way up my ribs up under my arm and the front of my shoulder into my neck hurts the worse.A couple of times I have been awakened in the middle of the night and started throwing up because of the cramps and pain.

Fibro
Just finding this forum, and finding it very helpful. I have fibro, was diagnosed 8 years ago. I am also a massage therapist. Honestly, I find massage very helpful for myself but the results are temporary....a few days. I have lots of regular clients that say massage really helps them. As with most fibro symptoms and treatments, its a personal thing. What works for one person may not work for another. You just have to keep an open and positve mind and try everything.
