Ok. So me and the guy aren't to gether we were for a while and then things changed after we found out. I guess we both got nervouse and stressed an, I seen a part of him that was just crazy. I told him that I was gonna give the baby my last name. I though it was the right thing to do since it's my last name I am not married, I think thats what my babys last name should be. I told him and he freaked out. ( I told him over the internet cause I just really don't want to like see him or anything yet cause I am not ready to talk to over the phone or see him in person. things are really bad between us you would probably never think that we acctaully use to have a good realtionship) After I told him he kept getting mad like am I gonna be on the birth certificate, it's my kid too, let me know how it goes. He just kept saying things that made me mad. I ended up getting suck and started pukin in the middle so I got off. I guess I didn't answer one of his questions so he called me at like 12am and just started yelling like you didn't answer my question. All these things. He kept on asking why I was acting like a health forum. He just made me furious. I hung up and he called me back and started yelling at me some more.
To the point. I feel really bad. I don't know what to do cause he want to name the baby too. the names he picked out were really bad. I go to school still so it's diffrent when you are naming a kid, well I think it is. I just don't know what to do. Should I give the baby his last name cause he obviously want it to be his. Or should I give it mine. I am just so torn with what to do. I really need advice.

I only scanned through your post as I really need to rush and get ready to go out in a mo lol but, from what I've read....

Its your baby, your life, your the one carrying the baby, therefore its your decision whose last name the baby has. Normally I'm guessing that if you and this guy aren't married, then the baby would take your name.

I'm expecting my little girl in 7 weeks and she's taking my sir name partly because me and her father are over now and he is having little to do with her, and his name isn't going on the certificate, but if we were together then his name would go on the certificate as the father but she'd still take my sir name unless we were married.

hope that helped...x

Traditionally the baby has the same last name as the father but they don't have to. my daughter does have the same last name as her dad but that's because we're still together and to me it felt like the right thing to do but there's no reason why you shouldn't give your baby your last name if that's what you're comfortable with

Yeah he was just really mad when I told him so then I started to secound guess myself. Him and I are on a level of where we are trying to get along. So it is hard. I just hope that we can some way be able to communicate b/c it's not just him and I anymore. We aren't gonna get back together I already know that so the babies gonna have my last name.

do not put his name on the birth certificate!!!!!!!!!!! As soon as you do he has the right to take the baby, see the baby, and has joint custody. If he is a loving all round great guy then put his name on but if he is not nice example abuses you, has hit, is involed in criminal activity then please do not. If he really wants to be apart of this babies life he will go to court and do parenting classes. Please give the baby your name. It will protect you and the baby from his temper. He sounds like bad news. For the legal part of everything do not put his name on birth certificate. Talk to a lawyer about it your first 15 minutes are free so ask them and what is best for you and your unborn child. If he is yelling at you because you did not answer a question then oh well buddy byebye. Try not to get to upset remember if you are upset so is the baby. Make sure you are eating right if the throwing up gets worse see your doctor and he/she can give you a drug called Diclectin it is made for women who are sick during pregnacy. it has extra b12 and b6 in it. 6 years ago when I had my twins I did not put the "sperm donor" on the birth certificate and it was the startest thing I ever did. If he is not on the cerificate and he tries to take baby and not return it you can charge him. The police will actually will get the baby back for you. But if his name is on it he has just as much right to have the baby as you do.
I hope this helps
Good luck
