Ok, I have had stomach issues for awhile now, and I do have colitis, which is a colon issue, and could very well cause the stomach discomfort, etc.
Well when I first went to my dr. he did a feel on my stomach and said we would order an ultrasound to make sure everything was normal size, and ok, etc. I asked why and he said I did have a strong pulsation in my stomach, and that area was like hard, etc. the dr. reassured me it could be a payer of fat even, but to make sure we would have a ultrasound. I had the ultrasound and everything looked ok, right size, etc. he had a special note on the paper for the tech. to check the aorta.... and she did, and everything came back normal size. I then start freaking about my abdominal aorta, fearing I have an aneyresum, etc. I even talked my other dr. into doing a cat scan, so I could be sure.. he ordered the cat scan for my abdominal discomfort, and that came back as everything being ok as well...I asked the nurse if it said anything about my aorta, and she said it didn't even mention it. She said that if anything was wrong with it, they would have stated so.
I am still to this day worried about this....... I think it is ridiculous, but i find myself thinking about it, or googling it, etc. I don't find alot of people who feel the "pulse" in their stomach like I do, and when googling the aneyresum that is the first sign of it, the pulsating in the abdomen....

Do you think after a cat scan and ab ultrasound, I am taking this waaaaaay over the top?

sorry:(
