For the last month my urine has taken on a very different odor. It always smells sweet and like the cereal "Cherrios". Wierd.

You can request a biochemical examination of your urine in order to diagnose the smell. Your urine should be checked for the presence of blood, infection, proteins, glucose etc. If everything is OK, the color and smell can originate from the food you eat. You can visit your GP to request the necessary urinanalysis.
