The past few weeks i've been having that sharp pain run thru the hip and it feels like it locks in place. is this telling me I'm ready for another? It was a titanium in 1995. I constantly am walking with a limp. Is there anything I can take for pain? I'm 49 yrs old.

Oh, dear. Sorry to hear about your pain. You might want to see your orthopedist and request necessary diagnostics (X-ray, MRI?). It seems as though your instincts tell you something is off, and you might want to check it out.

Where exactly are you experiencing pain?

It's telling you to go see your speciallist.... even after 12 years it shouldnt be behaving like this.... you havent dislocated it at all have you? or fallen? may have broken something inside... needs an xray to check...
