Q: Squaric Acid Sensitization For Warts Causes Massive Burn ?

I went into the dermatologist two weeks ago to have some warts removed. He froze them off and decided to use squaric acid dibutylester. He painted a two square inch area of my inner upper arm with this stuff and told me I wouldn't notice anything. By the next day, the area was raised, red ,blistered, and very painful. It looked and felt much like a severe first degree burn. This seemed more severe than the described possible symptoms gotten online and it eventually peeled. Two weeks later it looks like it is supposed to and it didn't seem to concern him.

I 'm wondering if anyone else has had experience with this treatment and if anyone knows if this is that normal of a reaction. I read somewhere that two square cm was the norm. Someone please help me.
