I take depo provera but ive only been using it for 26 weeks, which is 2 shots. I have alot of pregnancy symptoms like food cravings, discharge with odor, and swollen breasts. Can i be pregnant? i was also wondering if diaherrea and stomach pains can be a symptom?

You can get pregnant on the shot, even though it has a small percantage rate. Some women do have diahrea, and vomiting is a sign. The best way to know is to wait untill you have missed your period and take a pregnancy test, or you could go to the docotr and they could give you a blood test to see if you are. Smile

The best is supposed to be e.p.t. {error proof test} they are really expensive though$10-$14. But I have found that all work the same, I always just bought one from Dollar General $4, or Dollar Tree, or Deals theirs are only one dollar there.I really think they all work the same.

Nope - Early Pregnancy Test.

Yes... and no.

All urine based pregnancy tests work by detecting the amount of hCG (human Chorionic Gonadatrophin) hormone found in your urine.

Blue dye tests are typically less sensitive and have a higher occurence of false results that pink dye tests.

each test will tell you it's percentage accuracy and it's sensitivity on the pack.

accuracy will be said as something like "98% accurate on the day of your missed period".

sensitivity will be said as something like 50mIU/l (micro international units per litre) the lower the number the more sensitive the test.

If I remember correctly clear blue is 50mIU/l meaning it can pick up hCG hormone if there is at least 50mIU in a litre of urine (this doesn't mean you have to pee a litre).
First Response has a sensitivity of 25mIU/l meaning it can detect hCG when there is only HALF as much - ie when it is much more dilute, and this is why it can detect pregnancy earlier than other tests.

When you take a test:-
Read the instructions
Read them again
get your self prepared
Read the instructions again
follow instructions to the letter
