ok ive got a hemroid that i actualy got a long while back while trying to take a massive dump.

I go it probably when i was about 19 years old, and freaked out. I was putting preparation H on it every day twice a day and eventually it subsided.

recently it has popped back up - I am 23 now. I am wondering if i have to go see a doctor, and which kind of doctor to see. I really dont want to have to go some where where someone has to poke and prod into my butthole - You know what i mean? So is it something serious or if i just take preventative measures it should subside again.

Its about the size of a pea and only slightly uncomfortable. Its not itching or anything like that - just swollen. If i have to wipe it might get a little blood on the toilet tissue but nothing significant.

I will imediatley start drinking kombucha tea, and get some activia to see if it cant help the problem. But im wondering if this is something i really need to take care of.

I would have gone to my regular doctor but he has to be booked weeks in advance and his Nurse practioner is a pretty female - which makes it uncomfortable for me to go in and tell her i have a lump in the middle of my butthole and ask if she doesnt mind taking a look at it. - You know what i mean?

If i need something done i would much rather go to someone ive never met, and can look at soley as a doctor - but is there a hemroid doctor? or do most standard physicians do this kind of work?
