My daughter is 15 and for the last 2 years has been complaining about her hips hurting. I thought it was growing pains, but lately it has got so bad I took her to the doctor. Today they called me with the result of her x-ray, arthritis! What the heck, I feel bad about ignoring all her complaints, she's kind of a whiny kid. I guess I know why now.
They did some blood tests today, and her doctor wants her to go on physical therapy and Tylenol for a month. She has another doctor appt. in a month, but I'm not sure what to expect or ask. Is this going to be a life-long problem? She seems too young to be going through this.
