Is prednisone and pancreatittis in humans dangerous ? What kind of symptoms they show ?

Steroids and pancreatitis

I have chronic pancreatitis and just getting over a bad flare up. I am also suffering from chronic sinutitis and had surgery but the sinuses are all blocked up again. They mentioned steroids as one of the treatments, should I avoid the steroids because of the pancreatitis.
