Has anyone ever heard of it being possible to have a brain tumor or disorder that didn't show up on a CT?

It's possible and that's why the doctor usually will refer you for a MRI imaging test. It's a very sensitive scanning procedure, and can often create pictures of lesions that would be missed by a CT scan.
