Hi I have bad external hemmorhoids and lately I've noticed that that they shrink. Does this mean that I'm getting cured or its gonna be just another breakout.

hemorrhoids shrink
Well the doctors will put a rubber band on the hemorrhoids to make it lose blood and shrink so in that case it is probably getting better but you should still see a doctor they can cure you faster.

External hemorrhoids don't get rubber banded because of the pain (I asked my doc about it recently), but they will shrink with good diet, lots of fiber, and lots of water to soften stool and make it more regular. This doesn't mean they go away tho. If you get diarrhea or constipation they will return (sometimes badly), because the areas are already soft and prone to it. They are Blood Vessels that have swollen, so they can come back if you are straining too much to poo. Try to keep your diet healthy and you should be ok Smile I've wondered if a firming lotion might help but I haven't had the chance to ask yet. Good luck!
