Irregular periods or spotting is not a sign of pregnancy. It seems that the negative pregnancy tests confirm this diagnosis. Further, nausea is a common symptom and can be present in many disorders and conditions including pregnancy. That’s why we can’t base our suspicions on such common symptom.
Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) due to gonorrhea can cause irregular cycles and spotting but other symptoms are present, too, such as: lower abdominal pain, vaginal discharge, fiver, nausea-vomiting, sterility etc. PID caused by gonorrhea is a serious genital infection and symptoms mentioned above are usually present. In your case, however, gonorrhea doesn’t seem to be possible. Microbiological examination of 4 smears taken from the cervical canal, vagina, urethra and rectum are necessary to confirm or exclude gonorrhea. You can request these examinations from your gynecologist.
