Then your body is still changing. It's not going to be unusual for your period and PMS to change over the next few years.

My periods started out with mild cramps, almost unnoticable. By the time I was halfway through highschool, the cramps were so painful I would puke. Thankfully, they were easily managed with Pamprin so as long as I took it at the first sign of cramps I was okay. I did miss the first half of a few days of school due to the cramps however.

Now I'm on birth control pills and the pain is almost totally gone! I don't need pamprin anymore!

I often still get sore breasts/nipples, bloating, irritability and cramping a few days before my period. It's all normal.

However... if you are worried something might be wrong, please tell your mom. She's there, she's had a period for longer than you and she can help you!

Pms - Hemp
FYI, I started a new regimen 5 months ago that has stopped my pms.

1. Hemp Shake in the morning: hemp protein powder, hemp milk and banana blended with ice
2. Calcium/Magnesium at night
3. Acupuncture about day 12 of my cycle
4. Exercise

I'm not a hippie chick or anything, but heard about the omega 3/6's in hemp, so I gave it a go. I no longer get depression or have insomnia and my energy level no longer drops.
Very, very helpful.

Best wishes.
