Hello all,
I found this site in desperation as I have many questions that need answering! I was wondering if anyone out there could possible offer me some advice or shine some light on this condition of mine.
Foremost, i've never had any problems wih my neck or jaw until mid way through this year, I'm a student and I was playing rugby for my university and suffered a masive clash of heads making a tackle, afterwards my cheek bone was swollen and i was a little concust but thought nothing of it. However once the swelling had gone down (nearly a week later) I started getting blinding headaches like migraines around my temples and then they shifted to the very back of my head, and the muscles in my neck get so tight they feel like chicken bones some days. But also at the same time, I felt sick all the time, although I wasnt being, sick, often i would make myself sick hoping that they feeling would go away. That was nearly 5 months ago and i have been to the doctors many times and they say i have a tmj disorder. But would this effect my stomach and lower abdomen, it souds more like gastroenteritis and my stools are well.. not normal. I was wondering could I have tmj and be sufering a stomach/intestines problem as well. The sickness seems to come and go but it always has a lot of wind and pain attached to it, also i feel weak and fatigued all the time, i cant do any exercise at all which is extremly rare for me. Ive tried jogging again recently, but I am no where near as fit as i was and i struggle and get out of breath easily, also my neck throbs after running and i feel sick way down in my abdomen. In addition to all these joyous symptoms i get eye floaters (90% of the time) excess drool (its driving my girlfriend mad) tiredness and lack of happiness. My wisdom teeth have just stared bursting through my gums at the back and i noticed there isnt alot of room back there, could this be contributing to the tmj? Anyways ive rambled for too long already, but this seems the right place to be, if anyone can answer my questions hopefully its you guys. Many thanks in advance.

Hey Hi There And Welcome.
Hey hello there. i'm cindy. I'm not a doc or anything. but it sounds to me your massive head clash might have done something. when this happened to me, long ago my cheek was swollen, lots of symptoms you have and you have got to get your jaw bone checked and your UPPER neck. It sounds like that head clash might have thrown something out of alignment, like your jaw may be dislocated or your neck. i would go first to a bone doc, chiropracter or osteopath. get that jaw and neck checked.i think you may have suffered a head trauma like me. other memebers will be along soon, maybe they have some ideas too.Hang in there, kiddo. love cindy

One More Thing
Lots of strange symptoms come from a tmj-neck problem.... like the drooling, the floaters, the stomache i dont know.? i even had trouble breathing. if you break your neck you dont breathe. um if you want a place to go look go to here. now the reason i am sending you there is a fellow over in austrailia, i think he even played rugby or something like that ,put together this giant site. the same kind of thing happened to him. he is very nice to email and very knowledgeable too. you and your girlfriend could give it a glance. when you get there you have to read his... my story. not saying you have this, but its worth a look or consideration. love cindy

Extremely eHealthy
Hey
sounds like that was one hard head butt. you should see a chiropractor--namely an atlas orthoganist. The jaw must have been really hurt by the trauma. Id also recommend seeing a neuromuscular dentist. if you need help finding any of these let me know. im more than willing to help--pm me or email me at anytime.
