Ok so, last night was the same as any
other thursday night for me, went to work,
then got off and drove uptown to go pick
up my boyfriend who gets off about an hour
later than me. I got there a bit early as
i always do so I usually put my flashers
on and park right outside the
restaurant...people always walk by, drunk,
yelling w/e its downtown and there are a
bunch of clubs/bars, well last night I
pulled up where I always do and I saw this
guy walking, when I put on my flashers and
stopped he stopped and stood there...so
i'm like what..i put my car back into
drive b/c it made me nervous, kept my eye
on him, and then he starts messin with the
back of his shirt, next thing I know he's
pulling something out, at first I thought
it was a gun but at second glance realized
it was a huge wine bottle and he had it in
his hand like a bat ready to freakin SWING
AT MY CAR and bust out my window!!!! I
floored the peddle and got the
out of there as fast as i could..my bf was
still at work, i texted him to get out
asap and called my brother crying then
called the cops...it scared the
out of me, so be careful, i had always
felt safe and never thought it was a big
deal up until last night...now I'm scared
out of my mind to go anywhere...i never
thought someone would try and attack me
like that...oh how naive i am to think
such a thing....so everyone be careful,
there are freakin psychos out there

I dont even think he was drunk! He was
looking to carjack me or rob me or
something! omg i was so scared i was
shaking and cold and crying...I'm never
ever gonna be able to pick up my bf again
without being freaked out..I dont think
i'm gonna wait for him there again, even
though its right near a busy street, i
dont feel safe..i'm just gonna park at his
apartment where theres security...i just
found out today that my city is the 8th
most dangerous city on some ranking...hmm
comforting..i'm just glad I dont LIVE in
the city, he does, but I live about 45 min
outside in a good area...i used to love
the uptown area and nightlife...now i'm
just really nervous about it

haha, i should carry pepper spray..it is
legal here but i lost my one i had, and
then a while ago i was in the airport
gettin on a plane and forgot i had a
pretty big one in my purse..haha they duct
taped that thing up and took it in
I know scary things like that happen all
the time. Just be very happy you were
scard but still able to react and get away
before anything too serious
happened to you. I am very proud of you
for just steping on the gas most people
especially some at night not realy in tune
with this evil world might have frozen and
you did not and you did all the right
things. GOOD for you and I think you are
very brave for acting the way you
did......
About 2 months ago now I think I was
heading home from my mother to my house
across the ciity about 30-45 minutes apart
and I went down this one street and was
preparing to stop for a stop sign and this
punk jumped out at my f=van and tried to
get in good thing my doors are always
locked but when he ould not open the door
the one hand that was not in the door
handle he hit against the window and there
was a very big knife in his had=nd and
the minute I saw that I stepped on the gas
and when through the stop sign cutting a
bunch of cars off but I would rather cut
some people off then wait to see if it
will hit the window again harder and break
it. I however did not call the police I
person think they are very highly paid
thugs in this city anyways. They are never
around when you need them. At least when
ever I have needed one there never was one
around or when I was rapped and stalked
the cops blamed me. That was when I was 15
and the anti stalking laws were not in
place and rape or sexual assult are not a
very big deal back then women were always
to blame. any how good job

Hi all .... I live in England ... Britian
.. UK whatever you wanna call it ... and
I'd love to come over to the USA for a
holiday someday .. and I really would .. I
know we have just as bad crimes over here,
but guns seem to be rare (at the moment)
and pepper sprays and mace are illigal to
use ... I used to carry a knife with me
sometimes ... although a copper told me
that it could be used against me unless I
knew how to use it ... with the attitude I
have, i said ''well, if we were allowed to
carry things to protect ourselves with, I
wouldn't be carrying a lethal weapon'' ..
but he confiscated it anyway ..
he said '' you got a mobile phone'' YEah
like he's gonna stand by and wait for me
to call 999 (911) .. so now I carry heavy
metal attached to my keys ... (makes my
handbag heavy lol )
So to you girls that survive this kind of
attack ... I bow to you ... you are brave
to be able to react ... I think I'd frozen
on the spot ...and s**t myself. ....
