Q: Battle of the Sexes

Are men and women truly equal?

Has feminism created a world prejudiced against men? If so, is this just desserts?

Why You !!!
Jules, you and I seem to be trying to instigate something today. Wink

I'm sorry, but men and women are NOT equals. Men have their strengths, and women theirs. Typically women can't perform strength stuff as well as MOST men. That said, MOST Men couldn't handle having a baby. My wife is 'tougher' than I am but in a fist fight, I'd knock her out in 1 punch. See the difference?

True. and guys that dress better than you! (j/k) It's only a generalization based on 'averages'. I'm glad were different. If women want to be equal- whatever floats your boat!

We are supposed to be different. If we weren't, it'd just be pelvis bumping and no babies. Thats's no fun!

I would as well. I'd love to have sex as a woman to see what it really felt like and then I'd know more about how to please a woman. As for the testicles- trust me. They suck. I'm sure you've never sat on your period!

I have to agree with blulyneguy on that one.

We were not created equal for good reason. I like to believe that anything a man can do I can do also, but that certainly isn't the case. Physically I am not as strong as a man, and I wouldn't want to be. I think mentally and emotionally women are much stronger and I'm sure men like it that way.

You are right, I MAY go down after one punch from a man, but he's got to sleep sometime.

Like I Said...
Women have their strengths (revenge being one of them). I wouldn't want to be a mommy or a wife. Men are pains in the ass. I know it. I don't think women want to be born, work, and then die either. I am glad we are different.

revenge is a great strength and in my opionon one of the best things about being a woman...like dane cook said "women are mental terrorists"
and yes men are a pain in the butt. but women are emotional. we think more about the consequences of our actions and everything we do. doesnt taht get annoying to a man to hear from his wife "thats not a good idea..." or" dont do that because then..."

but if we werent so annoying then the world just might fall apart Very Happy

When my ex husband and I split, I sewed all of his pant legs closed, so when he went to put his pants on from a standing position he wouldn't be able to and he fell down. I also accidently washed all of his whitey tighties in Hot water with a bright red shirt. So revenge doesn't always have to be harmful. Just well thought out.

Very Good!
That was classic revenge! Laughing

I never really tire of my wife saying she thinks this or that. I value her opinion. Women do keep men in check. Without you guys, we'd be humping light poles and peeing on eachother.

We certainly are different animals biologically.

Socially we should strive for equality- equal pay, equal opportunities, etc, but at the same time recognize our inherent biological differences.

On that note, women are not given equality socially. While feminism and other equal rights movements have created momentum towards equality, there is a long way to go still.

I also agree.
In the legal sense we are equals. Men and women deserve the same rights as each other. They should get paid the same for the same work (we still don't).

However, physically we are obviously different. Someone brought up bodybuilding... Sorry, but the strongest woman on earth pales in comparison to the strongest male on earth, and that's just how it is.

I feel that women should be part of the draft. I feel women should be allowed into combat.

I believe men should win custody cases more often if the decision wasn't so gender-biased like it is.

Men cannot give birth. Women can. Body for body, pound for pound, women aren't as strong as men.

Brain wise, we are also different. Women's brains process the world differently than mens do. One way is not inferior or superior to the other.

Women live longer. Men tolerate short-term severely acute pain better; women can tolerate long-term acute pain better.

Men and Women are different but Equal. Equal does no mean identical. Apples are good... and so are oranges.

he he he - that was evil of you ... but soooo funny, I wished I could have had your advise when kicking my Ex out of the door ... I was nieve, and he walked all over me - but that was 7 years ago... hence the depression etc back then.... now I wouldn't hesitate, itching powder in his pants .... but the best place to hit is their pocket !! Especially if they'd dealt you a bogus hand for 13 years !!
