Awhile ago i posted about back pain. Well its back. and finally i went to the dr. they gave me a muscle relaxer and pain killer.
now i have taken 4 doses of the muscle relaxer and 2 of the pain killer and i still have pain. I was in really really bad pain before i started. and ijust started the meds yesterday morning. so almost 24 hours ive been on medication. Does anyone know how long it should take to kick in? Is it gonna take a lil longer because i was in such bad pain?? also too i had gastric bypass surgery 3 years ago, and i know i dont "absorb" things like normal people, could that be it? im taking a full pill but only get maybe half the effect?? anyone got some advice on this???

The medications you are taking should work right away. I suggest asking for something else, as this seems to be ineffective for you.

New to this forum hopefully I am replying the correct way, I am on pain meds to and muscle relaxers, doc ordered me to stay on them all day for now, yet I get very little relief and have tried several, I believe it is because of the back problem I am having, which they believe is a herniated disc at this time( will know for sure hopefully soon). Even pharmacist said pain from certain conditions is hard to control. If this continues I will ask for something else, don't want to, hate to take meds, but pain is to much to take. hopefully you find something that works for you. Good Luck.
