Well, unfortunately the
clinic I went to doesn't do implanon yet.
However, I did get a prescription for
depo. Yes, I've heard horror stories.
However, I have had NO adverse reaction to
birth control pills, so I think I have a
great chance of doing fine on depo
^^
depo is more effective than the pill? i
think my friend went on that...she gained
alot of weight..then again..i dunno if it
can be blamed on the pill...

Weight gain can happen on hormonal birth
control. Depo is more effective in the
sense that you can't forget a pill every
day. So there isn't a typical vs perfect
use issue.

oh gotcha, so basically if the pill is
taken perfectly it should be equally as
effective as depo...i take my pill on time
everyday, in fact i'm quite obsessive
about it, i have my phone alarm set, i
take it then, later in the day I check the
pack once again just to make sure i HAVE
taken my pill for the day lol...i freak
out if I'm over 1/2 an hour late..even
though I know it shouldn't be an issue
haha

I think that if you take your pill that
way then you shouldn't worry about the
risk of pregnancy because with the
efficiency of the pill w/ perfect use, it
is quite rare to get pregnant. Depo is
slightly more effective than the pill even
with the typical vs. perfect use.
I understand your situation quite well. I
used to worry a lot about birth control
too and I'm quite uncomfortable w/ the
pill effectiveness so I went to get an
IUD. I'm 19 so I'm a year younger than
you.
