Bulky Uterus
Posted: 07-19-07 18:17pm

The other day I went to the gyn for a yearly exam. He told me had a bulky uterus but nothing to worry about. Just wondering if anyone has heard of such a thing or if anyone else has had this diagnosis.

Confused well, I just had a pelvic ultra sound because I keep having bleeding when Im not supposed to be and they are telling me that my Uterus is really thick and that is causing me to bleed. So they told me they have to go in and do a D&C to clean me out! Sad
Not the same but still has to do with the uterus.

Good luck!

It isn't the uterus that is thick. It is the endometrial lining of the uterus. They wouldn't do an D&C to scrape off the actual uterus, they are scraping off the lining.

Good luck with this. It isn't bad, just a little crampy. The benefit of lighter periods for awhile is nice.
