Q: Protruding lump just under breast , on top of right rib cage
asked by: DoctorQuestion on July 19th, 2007
I have a protruding finger size lump just under my breast on the top of my right rib cage. It sometimes is painful and sometimes not. However, it's not painful enough for me to stop whatever I am doing but to slow down and such. Any clues to what this can be while waiting to go to the doctor?

According to the description of a "lump under the breast that is sometimes painful" it is impossible to diagnose such a lesion precisely. You can visit your GP or a surgeon for further diagnostic procedures.
