my friend is having a girl and she's doing ladybugs...
it's cute and i haven't seen it done very often

this is finn's room, he's a boy but i think it's fairly neutral. honestly, i don't love it and wish i hadn't made such a quick decision. i wish i'd done dinos or robots. oh well, i'm doing robots/space for his big boy room.

it's a farm theme (in case you couldn't tell)-

the next baby will share this room with finn. when we get a bigger house and if we have a girl i want to do a lavender fairy room.

Hi

Years ago, before Hello Kitty, I decorated my daughters room like a garden. I painted the walls a color similar to Finns, and also painted the ceiling to look like the sky complete with clouds. I then hand painted flowers, butter flies,I bought stick on wallpaper type dragon flies etc. Painted a tree in one corner and hung her stuffed animals from the branches (cup hooks). Her bedding was solid colors and gingham to match. I wish I'd taken pictures of it. Just an idea!

lol, thanks! i always say at least one room in my house is clean. we've actually just started spending time in there and while there isn't much he can do to mess it up, he does take great joy in emptying the bookcase and throwing stuff all over the floor.

Bridgette how do you keep Finn's room so clean. Shocked you should see the twins room toys everywhere.

his room stays clean because we don't play in there! the living room is where all his toys are and it's always a mess. i clean up every night before nick gets home but first thing in the morning finn's ransacking the place again. you can see how messy it is in the videos i posted of him crawling. i almost didn't post those because i was embarrassed!

thanks! i work at a toy shop and i was just flipping through vendor catalogs at work one day and found it. we'd already gotten most of the other farm themed stuff at the time so i decided i had to have it to complete the room. my boss let me order it wholesale so i only had to pay half what it retails for! it is cute but it's going to be pretty useless when he gets older. oh well, i'll save it for the grandkids! (yes, i think that far in advance.)

Kind of random coincidence, but it reminded me...B, You said you work in a toy store and there is a toy store in Portland called ."Finnegans" Smile lol I go by it everyday coming home from work. They have some really neat toys in there too and lots of stuffed animals.
