Hi. I have gout and I need some help on my diet. I can't do it on my own. I'm looking for a course , like e-course or something that will give me every day advices on what to eat, how to cook protein and purines free meals ... I'll appreciate every replay. Thanks

i have certain advices for gout
the difference between purine content in foods of anormal person & a person with gout is that he is only allowed with about 100 to 150 mg of purine from foods per day, while a normal person's diet may contain fron 600 to 15oo mg of purines from foods.i can supply you if you are intersted with tables that contain the purine content of many foods.
and if you supply me with your age, weight , height & gender i can try to write you a low purine diet.
note that you should supply me with your preferance in foods, your dislikes, and the pattern of your eating habits.
for example, you can make a food dairy for 2 days where you write all what you have eatewn through out these days and then i can assess your eating patterns.
hopefully, ill be helpful.

Gout and confusion
I have only eaten smoked salmon vegetables, breads and tuna. I have aslo eaten fruits. I am getting burnt out on fish and would really like to try to eat some different meats. I have lost a bit of weight with this gout thing and if I keep this up I'll be below my weight limit. I drink tart cherry juice throughout the day to help with th gout and i have been prescribed methylprednisolone and indomethacin. I have had this for 2 1/2 weeks. quite painful in my big toe. Do you have any other ideas for a variety of foods that I can eat. I am 5'11" weigh 180. thx
