blood type diet
Your blood type means you have, or do not have, a specific component (A or B or both) in your blood. The purpose of typing blood is that people will have a serious reaction if they receive a transfusion from someone who has one of these components and you do not (your body sees it as an invader). In other words, if you are type O (which actually means you have neither A nor B--read as a zero) you cannot receive blood from someone who is type A or B.
Period.
This is the only relevance of blood type.

A diet for your eye color would make as much sense as a diet for your blood type. There is absolutely no science behind what you should eat based on whether you have one of these compounds that controls who you can safely receive blood from.

I've started the Blood Type A Diet
My brother-in-law told me about the BTD and I looked it up on the internet. Type a is mostly vegetarian, but I can eat chicken, cornish hens, and turkey and some types of fish. I started the diet on Sunday at 174.8 pounds. It is now Wednesday morning and I weigh in at 172.00 pounds. I have cut my portion size. This morning my breakfast was one glass of water flavored with reconstituted lemon juice and a packet of Sweet & Low (quick lemonaide). I had one hard boiled egg, about a 1/4 cup of ricotta cheese, and a Morning Star Garden Vegatable pattie. This was a tasty breakfast - not boring at all.
