oki i know that whenever my period comes, my breasts get tender about 3 days before..i also know that whenever women are pregnant about a month or so? their breast are also tender. WELL i've been on the pill for about 1 week and 4 days now and my breasts are tender. is it bc of the type of pill i'm on which is tricyclen? or its just how the pills work. or is it bc i'm pregnant and i just don't know it? me and my boyfriend have been using condoms and we havn't seen any leaks or tears in the condoms.

is this normal? i mean i havn't noticed any weight gain and i look pretty slim. my apetite hasn't gone up and i don't vomit. the only time i vomited was about 5 days ago? but that was only because i ate something old and found out later on. i don't have mroning sickness or anything. i am still paranoid though. can somebody please tell me what might be going on? please and thank you!

I get tender breasts before my period too on birth control; it's normal to get that sensation no matter what. I am also on ortho tricyclen, but it's the "lo" variety. If you're on the pills you don't need condoms but I commend you for being careful!

When I was on mirena my breasts hurt so much that I stopped showering and took baths instead. I thought I was preggo at first too, but of course I wasn't. (It didn't help that I had also stopped getting my period altogether)

You're probably just paranoid. I've been there. Wink

I started Yasmin for the first time the Sunday after my period started. One week after my breasts were so tender and swollen. I asked my gyn and she said it is normal at first. After about 10 days it stopped and I am fine now.

Good luck!
