Q: Swollen Sore Sensitive Tongue

Sad My husband made me a steak with a "little bit" of Cayanne Pepper on it - he made this over 12 days ago and my tongue is still sore. My glands are swollen, my throat hurts a bit and I have a bad cough as well. My kids all had strep throat last week, but I can't imagine that would cause this painful tongue I have.

Any help?
