Tarlov Cysts
Posted: 07-17-07 22:11pm

Hi,
My name is Debbie and I am looking for a spine specialist/Neurosurgeon in PA that deals with Tarlov Cysts. Most dr's do not believe that there is any tarlov cysst that is symptomatic. Research proves that it is a very small percentage of people who have symptomatic tarlov cysts (another word for them is Perineural cysts). The dr. that I have found that is closest to me is Dr. Donlin Long in John Hopkins Balitmore. I have spoke to his office and he is happy to take my case but the waiting list is extremely long and the pain from these never go below a 6 with heavy meds. I am home bound and unable to live a normal life. If anyone has heard of any spine specialist or Neurosurgeons in Pennsylvania that works on these cysts please, please let me know. There are many of us that are willing to travel but travel is expensive and very painful.
Thanks for any information you can give me.

God Bless
