Wife Denied Health Insurance Posted: 07-17-07 21:04pm
I had insurance and lost my job. I did not
take out cobra insurance and 60 days have
past. My wife has a hurt back from were
she used to work. She did claim workers
compensation. The doctors finally released
her from treatment because they could not
do anymore for her. She can walk, run, but
cannot sit for a long period of time
without lower back pain.
I applied for insurance and was approved
for all but my wife. Can anyone help me?

did they state why they wouldnt cover her?
it just seems so odd that an insurance
company wouldnt cover someone. in my case
the only thing that i need it for isnt
covered(tmd) but i have it in case i get
sick. personally i hate insurance.

they have a government program called
Indiana Comprehensive. I'd call the
insurance place back and asked if there is
any other government agency that has to
take you no matter what. It is expensive
but at least here there is something you
can do to be insured.
