does anyone have any suggestions, i'm on estrostep fe for at least 2 years by now. i have a vacation planned next month, but i should be getting my period that same week. if i skip my placebos and start a new pack will that work? i don't mind if i spot or anything as i have over a month and i'm just trying to move my period ahead a week for next month. i'm not sure what to do. i even called my doctor but the nurse that i spoke with was rude and say my doctor does not approve of skipping periods. help me please.

Instead of getting a period, you may spot, or you may get your period anyway and have it transition into spotting... for the whole next month, not just two weeks. Or it may work perfectly; there's just no way to know.

However, most women do not skip the first time they try.

Skipping is not harmful at all!
