Q: Underdeveloped Testicles At 18

Hi, I thought I make this topic for anyone who has the same problem as me. Basically, my left testicle is quite small for the average 18 year old, whilst my right has not even developed and cannot even be seen, unless focused upon extremely.

My doctor said I might need to get an extra boost of testostorone injected into my testicle(s) to help them develop. The injection will consist of hormone(s). My testostorone level came out to be normal, but my Dr said the extra boost should help the development, and the natural level of my testostorone should help maintain the development naturally. So I won't be having injectiones for life, only once or how many times required.

I told my doctor that my testicle size has not changed from when I was 13. At this age I had an ultrasound scan on my testicles, and the results were normal.

However, does anyone have any same experience? Or needs help? Please talk here, I am going through the process, and shall be able to help once I have been healed, hopefully.

Also, if the case of underdevelopment of the testicles, therefore needing an extra injection to help them grow, can this also relate to the penis too? As my penis size has not changed from when I was 13. If they need a boost, then so does the penis right?

I was reading another article, this person had a normal level of testostorone, but his testicles and penis etc were underdeveloped and he had semi erections most of the time only. He took an extra boost of testostorone despite being normal, and his size in his penis/testicles increased, and he began to have more erections. Can this apply to my case? (Note: I have never had a full erection).

If anyone has the same experience or knowledge, may you please provide support. I am going for a scan tommoro.

I thought testosterone injections shrunk the testicles, but I suppose that shows how little I know. Perhaps it behaves differently if applied directly in the area in question. I also have atrophied testicles, but I doubt we have anything related, as that part is the least of my worries.

Steroids shrink testicles, and many steroids have testosterone in them. But when used in a different way, Testosterone could increase the size of the testicles, since that is the function of testosterone when it is released in boys who have reached puberty.

Thnx for the help, but I don't think I will be giving a source of steroids (it is different to medical type) but be giving the medication version or something.

I got my ultrasound done today. My penis and testicles are ok. The nurse did report on the fact that my right testicle is very very small and will report it to my dr.

My dr told me, that if my testicles (the right testicle in particularly) are ok, then I may need them injected to help them grow, give them an extra boost. My normal level of testosterone in me should help keep the natural flow (my testosterone level came out be normal).

Also, my penis and testicle size have not changed from when I was 13. The testicles will get treated hopefully and increase and fully develop. But what about my penis????????? Is there a solution for it?

Also, I read on this site, this person was behind in terms of puberty/maturity despite being around my age I think. His testostorone level came out to be normal, but he took extra testosterone pills I think and he began to develop. (Note: my facial is hair is low as well as my arm pit hair...I have enough pubic hair, but I am still skinny...not masculine enough despite having a normal testosterone level). If I was to be in the same scenario as this problem, will my penis size increase???????

I have never had an erection too, but it is due to my weak muscles, I am getting treated for that. I should be taking Ciliasis and my penis should become normal. I think the pills should help spark my natural order for my muscles, so I should only be on these pills for a few months only (one example I read on this site of an Italian guy, he never had an erection, took sure-erect for 3 months, now he never uses it).

Any ideas or possibilities please????????????

I'm not sure how much penis size is actually related to the size of your testicles. It seems natural, but though I have small testicles I actually have a penis well within the normal size range.

The intricacies of the endocrine system are completely beyond me. Again, I also was tested as having normal levels of testosterone, yet I'm riddled with problems. It seems, then, that a deficiency of a more obscure hormone or an excess of another such as estrogen might be doing this, but I'm only guessing. I do know, however, (or at least I've been told) that excessive testosterone injections cause your body to become dependent and not produce its own, so go easy on them.

Personally, testicle size doesn't matter to me as a woman... if your erect penis is normal sized, that's all that matters. You don't use your testicles to have sex now do you?

No, but it's a sign of a greater problem, and it's still a pretty serious vanity issue.

I'm curious, at 18, are you on your own already or did you have to deal with your parents? If so, how?

hi, i'm 40 and normal man in all respects. but i have one normal sized testis and the left one is under developed, considerbly small. by appearance only one is seen and with touch the small one can be felt. i observed this deformity when i was 22. i done nothing. after marriage one doctor told, it is not a problem. my sex life is also satisfactory so far.

I'm 17 and I also have this same problem, and, to tell you the truth, I'm sick of it. What type of doctor did you end up haveing to see?
