Hi everyone,

I'm sixteen and haven't had sex before, me and my girlfriend both would like to have sex but I have had some concerns that I'd like to get some help with beforehand.

Basically, my foreskin is kinda longer than my actual penis itself, leaving this extra it of skin at the end, I dont have a problem with it, and in fact I even like having it, however I'm not too comfortable retracting it over the head of my penis.

I can retract over the head when it is flacid, however the head is really sensitive and hurts to touch. I have admittedly masturbated a few times, but have done so without the foreskin retracted (I retract it in the shower to clean) I also just dont feel comfortable in general retracting it, I feel (stupidly i know) nervous about retracting it and so far havent been able to retract it over the head when erect.

The main question I really would like to know the answer to is this; is it ok to have sex without retracting the foreskin? Will something go wrong if i leave it covering the head? I worry about this because condom wrappers all say the same 'retract the foreskin before applying the condom' and I am concerned that it might break or something if i dont retract?

Thanks

The extra skin is normal. The inability to retract the skin may be phimosis, if it is physically painful to retract it. If it's just a mental thing... I don't know what to do.

Sex with the foreskin unretracted is very painful for both the male and the female, and I wouldn't suggest it.

The sensitive head will become less painful if you work at withdrawing the foreskin and touching the head.

This Helps!
Keep the skin all the way back for a few days, holding it with something. Wear boxers, no tighty-whiteys. Let the air get to the new skin that is not used to oxygen. The sensitive part will eventually become stronger, almost like a callus of your hand, but safe. Don't use pwders on it, and keep it dry all the time. Remember the skin has to be pulled back, staying likw that for a few days. Choose a weekend for the time for this. Hope this helps!
