Q: Pressure In Ear After Infection

Hey guys! I appreciate the help! Last Wednesday I became sick, slight fever, normal sick conditions. The next day at around 2:00pm my left ear started hurting, I instantly knew that it was an ear infection, a few hours later the pain had gotten intolerable, I've never had an infection this bad before. My wife decided to take me to the hospital and the doctor told me it was an ear infection and was surprised to see how red and irritated the inside of my ear was. He prescribed me "Neomycin and polymyxin B Sulfates and Hydrocortisone Otic solution" for my ears 4 drops three times a day. And also gave me amoxicillin for my throat (which was also killing me). The next day it seemed the infection spread to my left ear and the same thing happened. I have been following the instructions, but for both ears. Now, they do not hurt anymore BUT there is still a lot of pressure in both my ears and it's very hard to ear. Any ideas if this will go away, or what I need to do?

Thanks again
Joe!
