Most tmd patients are on a self inflicted diet of soft foods. Others do it cause the doc said so and others do it because they cant eat it any other way because the pain is too bad.

What is the diet you follow like? keep in mind that soft is best:)

feel free to post opinions and recipies too:)

Dyan - what do you mean by a little of both? I basically eat whatever I want to but must stay away from certain foods (hard, chewy, taffy-like, etc.) I didn't vote yet.

I voted a little of both. Very Happy I will mention, tho, that I was on a complete liquid diet for 3 or so months and I had NO problems with my TMJ at that time. It was wonderful. Now I just try and be careful. Sometimes it amazes me that my TMJ is doing so well right now, Praise God!
