When you say dispha, do you mean dysplasia? I have a paper from my gyno that has all the different results you can get back from a pap smear, like when you call to get the results, this paper helps you understand what each "reading" means...So if you've got the report of what they told you i'm almost positive it's on here, and i'll send you what it says.

I have no idea what dispha is but I have been told I had a cell abnormality before and it turned out to be nothing. I hope the same happens for you.

It's probably cervical dysplasia. I have it. They just keep an eye on it and do a pap smear every 6 months until it goes away. They may do a colposcopy which is where they look at your cervix with a microscope and sometimes they take a biopsy. They just want to watch it to be sure that it doesn't turn into cervical cancer. It can also be linked to hpv. You can find lots of info on the internet. Look up cervical dysplasia and hpv.

My doctor mentioned somethin like that to me about me gettin tested for that in 6 months or somethin.... Someone told me it was serious but then my doctor told me its a natural bacteria that lives in u?? Someone else told me its an std or somethin..... I'm not quite sure as too what it is but i've also been freakin out as to why she wants me to get tested for it! Lol! I'm pretty sure its not bad tho cuz my doc didnt sound like it was.... I remember lookin it up on the internet, theres a connection wit it to hpv but I cant remember exactly what it was. Somethin like 2 different kinds or somethin.... But im sure its nothign to worry about hun!

I was just wondering b/c they say it's common for it to happen when you're pregnant b/c of the change in hormone's.

I guess! Did you have a vaginal delivery? My Dr. Told me that a vaginal delivery helps to push the abnormal tissue out.
