Q: Off From Bc Until Now No Period ( 7 Months)

went to the doctor and prescribed me another BC she said take it for 3 months to have my period but when can i start taking it if i have no period. i dont know when. I want to have a baby now. i heard about prometrium (to menstruate and ovulate) should i ask my doctor to prescribe it to me.

If the doc prescribed you another birth control to get you to have your period, you should start taking it now regardless of your cycle (if you're not having your period you can't wait around for it to start) and your cycle should eventually adjust.

There is no harm in asking your doc about prometrium- I don't really know anything about it but it is worth a shot. Asking never hurt anyone.
