My son started with one swollen patch on his lower spine that went away after taking ibuprofen, the next day it returned and now there is a second one about 4 - 5 inches above the first. Both are on the spinal column and are about the size of a quarter. There is no skin discoloration, just swelling. He has had no known injury to his back. Any ideas what this may be attributed to?
