I agree with pres. I literally tried every medication out there, from retin-a (micro then macro), differen, sulfacet.. I also tried antibiotics.. Then I went on accutane for 5 months and it worked great! However, it only cleared my skin up for 6 months. Since I was at the end of college, I wasn't going to have health coverage to cover going back on accutane so I figured, what the heck.. And tried proactive. It was great. Now that my skin has been under control for 2-3 years now, I have stopped using it and can now use cheaper stuff you can buy anywhere. But it's worth a try.

Drugs are not the answer for a cure to a acne problem. You need to take care of whats causing the problem and 99% of the time it is toxins! Also a hormone imbalance. There are three things that I used to get rid of my daughters acne. Barleans flax oil, msm and selenium. These all help to draw the toxins out od the body and the flax oil also balances the hormones.
